SDL Trados Studio 2009
This program has been called the future of translation technology. It uses a translation memory which allows content from previous translations to be stored and used in new translations, permitting translators to avoid ever translating the same phrase twice. By properly using the software, linguists are empowered to improve quality as well as consistency and reduce translation time.
The graphic interface design of the application is user-friendly and intuitive so you only have to concentrate on the translation.
The two most common versions of the program are SDL Trados Studio 2009 Professional, for corporate users and translation companies and agencies, and SDL Trados Studio 2009 Freelance, for freelance translators.
SDL Multiterm 2009
This terminology management program is the ideal complement to SDL Trados Studio 2009. SDL MultiTerm 2009 allows you to create specific terminology databases for each client. You can maintain term consistency in your translations, using exclusive corporate language and reducing the time taken to revise your work.
Given that this tool can be integrated with SDL Trados Studio, the translator can save time looking up terms and be more precise when choosing terms.
SDL Multiterm Extract 2009

SDL MultiTerm Extract is an application allowing you to extract terms in one or more languages from documents or translation memories to efficiently create term bases and glossaries. It also allows you to see term matches with the SDL MultiTerm 2009 term bases so you can add new terms to these bases and improve term consistency and precision in translations.
SDL MultiTerm Extract is compatible with different formats such as TXT, RTF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, HTML, Adobe PageMaker, Adobe InDesign, among others.
